The product arrived prematurely. As for the remote control itself, I'm happy with its performance, but it could use a little improvement. The temperature difference at which it changes speed in autofan mode should be regulated and not set in 4-degree increments. The light on the ceiling fan doesn't seem as bright as if it were plugged directly into the wall switch, even with the remote showing 100% brightness - I'd say it was around 85%. Some people saw unexpected lights in the middle of the night. The instructions say to change the factory settings of the DIP switches before installing. I did this and didn't find any unexpected features. The receiving unit connected to the fan is a bit large. If you don't have a ceiling awning, you should mount it in a prominent place on the ceiling or, if you're lucky like me, thread it through a hole in the ceiling and place it in the attic.
