This radio also works here in the Outback. Where other radios can't get a signal, this radio plays AM, FM, and NOAA stations. I'm really positively surprised. I don't think you can beat the price. This is a small, compact, well built emergency radio. This emergency radio also features a bright flashlight and an SOS siren that will make your pup jump out of his fur. Actually, it surprised us both. It is very loud. LOLI loves that there are 3 ways to charge this radio. We don't always have electricity here and when it rains heavily, our satellite is switched off. We might need a hand crank. This emergency radio keeps us informed when all else fails. This is our second emergency radio. We keep one indoors and one in our shelter from the weather.
