My LFS only sells Eheim heaters and I love the idea of the improved electronic switch in the ThermoControl e-Series heaters. It's been stable for over half a year now. My water temperature is always accurate, right where I set it, without hesitation. Having had other, less reliable heaters, I chose Eheim about ten years ago and haven't looked back. Too big a risk, cheap aquarium heaters.
