This is my second batch of temperature sensors from this company. The first batch of 5 was packed in styrofoam and sealed in a silver (nickel plated) anti-static ziplock bag. This package came in a small plastic box. While neither of these methods are optimal, putting them in a plastic box is the worst. At the very least, an anti-static bag will protect them from bumps. But the box can generate a charge if the plastic and lead parts fall over. Luckily the parts are relatively solid. Although I haven't tested them yet, I'll update this review when I'm done. All equipment arrived in good condition. Brand of the first batch. All five worked and were within specification. Being from the same batch, they differed within a few tenths of a degree F from each other. I would expect them to work as well.
