Round. Will not fit in a 2-3 gallon trash can. Opened the roll and pulled out a garbage bag. Too small to fit around a small trash can. The item I previously ordered was out of stock. It was the perfect match. When I opened the roll and pulled out the bag (assuming it fits in my 4 small bins in the bathrooms and bedrooms. I kept looking and found exactly what I was looking for. This is what I need to order. No idea can use it. The description doesn't mention girth. As well as the first ones I ordered. Accidentally I "assumed" they were the same since both were 2.5 gallons.
