Not impressive or durable

Failed and 6 months old been in use and this seat protector looks like it is several years old. At first I was happy that the quality seemed really durable. I have two dogs that I take on hikes about 3 times a week. In addition, I would not consider this protector to be heavily used at all, especially since I usually cover it with a blanket. This seat protector has been used very few times in direct contact and has several holes. Two of them are where he won't even be exposed to dog claws. Pros: - The spring-loaded cords that run under the seat are a major contributor to keeping the cover in place. Cons: The fabric is very slippery, so I usually cover it with a blanket. - not durable, a few small holes and weird cracks after less than 6 months of use - not easy to clean. These photos were taken after we vacuumed the cover before washing. None of my dogs have a rough coat and never have a problem with ripping hairs anything other than so easily. Especially the orange cloth as shown in the picture. Overall, the product is very overpriced for what it offers. If you're looking for a layer of protection that doesn't come into contact with your dogs, this might be for you. You're also probably better off just sewing your own elastic to the regular seat cover underneath to hold it in place better.

Pros
  • Accommodates a passenger - the semi-hammock-style rear seat cover only takes up half of the seat, leaving enough room for a passenger, a child car seat, or storage to share the back seat with your pup
Cons
  • Speed operation
