Review on Melodieux Moroccan Darkening Blackout Curtains by Sean Ceo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

IN THE FIRST PHOTO NOT ALL THE CURTAINS ON THE ROD YET!

DO NOT RATE IT BY THE FIRST PHOTO I POSTED. THIS IS BEFORE I hung another curtain because my window was so big they couldn't reach it. This was the only photo I had of the curtains, I am at work and these are the only photos I had. But I'm really impressed with these curtains. I always sit and read reviews. Sometimes they completely change my mind about a product. I liked these curtains, and then, as I said, the reviews made me very tired. I took a chance and ordered 2 for the window behind the TV which has been covered in tapestries for years. I've always hated it. But curtains are so much money! Especially for me because my windows are unusually large, so the bar is $80. I read a review complaining about creases in the curtains. But I put mine on with pleats and I didn't think it looked very flashy. Or it just didn't look bad. They were definitely good value for money. I also read a review where I complained about the thickness. I found her quite fat. Not the thickest material, but not the thinnest either. I ended up buying 13 pieces for the entire living and dining room. They make the room so dark! So dark! Obviously there is a bit of light coming out from the top and some on the sides, but overall they're almost perfect and really make the space 'complete'. The ONLY thing I would like to do differently is maybe a different color. But I think you should try them if you are thinking of buying them! :) but that's just my contribution! I hope this helped you!

Cons
  • Good but not great
