Review on Banks 51313 Monster Exhaust System: Unleash Your Vehicle's Power by Josh Allen

Sounds good for a jeep tj. A welder and experience are required for a proper, smooth installation.

So, 1998 Wrangler. No Cats, Headdress headline. Silencer and tip - very good quality, sounds great, also aggressive, looks very good and clean. I'm not sure. I'll just say it. The engineer on this project was paid a lot for half a dollar of work. I listed the correct year jeep and they sent me a muffler adapter for another year. The tube hangers above the axle appear to have been welded backwards, causing the tube to move an inch and a half, making it extremely difficult to fit the hangers into the hub and push the tubes together. So it was either A: keep the axle tube away from the shock and the tip pullback should be bent and pressed against the secondary bumper, which has more clearance than the stock bumper, or the B-tube would abut the shock to give it the right look. Next came the tallest part of the exhaust pipe, where it protruded over the axle. About 2" larger so it rubs against the heat shield, well we had to take it off to fit the 4" adapter we had to buy because the clearance was too big and the muffler could be pulled back. too far to assemble.
