Review on Optimized Artist Set: Royal & Langnickel Sketching and Drawing Studio by Heather Shaw
Better than I thought they would be!
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! To be honest, I only bought it because of the case itself. I need something for current projects and it seemed promising. What I didn't expect was how good Royal pencils are! Good pigment, soft leads - only complaint is that they crumble a bit. Graphite is good too - smooth and soft (doesn't crumble). And who doesn't need extra strokes or erasers? It is DEFINITELY worth the price! ETA: Photo of how I like to use this case. I took her stash and used mine. This is for my current painting projects. It's easier to travel with and I like that everything is together in this case.
