Don't expose to sunlight?

The care instructions warn against exposing the bag to the sun. That worried me. Bought travel bag. I liked its look and style but was wondering if it would last 3 hours in the sun during a baseball game. Or did I have to leave it on the shady side of the car seat all day? (Or maybe wipe down with SPF 30 sunscreen? (stupid) etc etc. I sent the bag back because the sun restrictions were just impractical for a bag I was planning to use for a holdall. Just don't take it to the beach without own wide-brimmed hat.

CARRY IT ON YOUR TRAVEL: It would be great if you could carry your big bag in another way. Well our large tote bag has heavy duty hand straps so you can carry all your stuff when you go out. The adjustable narrow strap allows it to be worn as a shoulder bag or as a cross body bag.
