Review on Extech Instruments 407026 Light Meter by Tom Beland

I work in commercial lighting and use this product to read foot candles almost every day. It's a little bulky and I wish they found a way to build the sensor into the device so you don't always have to use both hands to use the device (the sensor is always hanging around while I'm using the device). and juggling with a notebook, etc.). Seems well made and solid. It seems pretty accurate. This device cost me more than I was willing to pay for a tool like this, but it was recommended to me by others in the industry and lives up to its reputation.
