Essentially, the first 33 pages of this book are instructions for casting, tying, accessories, circular knitting and one or the other important piece of information. The same information can be found in almost every book on the market. The rest of this book (about 200 pages) are examples of different stitches that can be made as a pattern. Several models were added for testing (hats, vest, wallet, etc.) but none of them interested me at all. I was looking for knitting tips and tricks, clear instructions on how to cast on wrong stitches, including when increasing (how to recognize them and how to knit them, etc.). Just general clear basic information that would be a "complete" knitting instruction for me. Books galore on knitting different stitches and patterns are available there. I didn't expect this book to devote 90% of its content to this aspect of knitting. The biggest disappointment.
