Now that we live in a tornado lane, my girlfriend wanted one of them to hear local weather alerts when storms are approaching, but there was a problem. She couldn't get him to step in clearly. When plugged into the wall, the RFI (radio frequency interference) was brutal, to the point where the device was useless. When the device was unplugged and the batteries were running low, everything was fine, but still pretty clunky. So what was wrong? After playing around with it, I found that the station in question was two clicks further than advertised. to the station you should have and it's static move the dial up and down a few clicks and your signal might get clearer!
