I don't know what I was expecting but this adapter is HEAVY! It is very well built and very heavy. The weight is a problem for me. I bought it to extend our storage platform in the back of our RV. It's so heavy and added about 10 inches of leverage that I was worried about using it, especially to add a bike rack. Now it's called garage paper for paper.
