Because it's used so much, and because it's not a trash can-sized trash can, I've found that I have to change the trash liner about every second. Day. For a month or two I tried using regular Hefty bin liners and they worked really well. But then I got a pack of these insoles as a gift. and since then I've only bought them for a basic human tank. These bags fit perfectly in the bin and because they are narrower than regular bin liners, they are easier to pack and unpack and do not waste an inch of floor space. They're the perfect size and the gray strap at the top fits just as well as any hefty bin liner or knockoff I've used. From time to time the bag is a bit torn when I have something with me. (like a piece of wood or a very rigid cardboard box) and I pull it out of the bin, but I haven't had a single tear that badly enough would have leaked anything out of it. Overall these liners are great value to me and I'm happy to pay a little more for a bag to have a much better bag changing experience at least fifteen days each month.
