Review on Taylor 6091N Pocket Bimetal Thermometer - Instant Read, Range: -40°F to 120°F by Michael Wiley
Suitable for inspecting meat if you have good eyesight.
The probe is non-magnetic so probably stainless steel (good). The problem I have is that the dial is only about 3/4" in diameter. This makes it very difficult to read unless you're only a few inches from it (which isn't so good). Calibration (that's good) It's not very reproducible (not very good) Taylor is a well-known toolmaker, but this little tool isn't useful to me at all.
