Okay, I'll admit I've had a rough time with my short game, mainly wedges, and for some reason I thought this racquet would help. In short, I was wrong. It won't be a fix for a bad short game, and the curve where you hit in the stance will be tight. If your hands aren't dribbling, you're slipping right under the ball and maybe getting 5 yards a shot, too thin, and you're getting a different fairway. I haven't tried it in a sand trap and honestly it's not necessary. On my regular courses, I probably average less than one trap per lap. This will probably fit in a bag with all my other old racquets because it only took me a couple of shots to get the shine off the bottom of the racquet and that's why I can't return it. Otherwise he would have been on his way back.
