I took a chance with these lights because every year it was a nightmare to fill the regular lights to fill the wood and I didn't have more a lot left or a lot too few. This made it easy to place the lights evenly on the tree. Huge improvement over Garlands. I bought two for my 7 foot tree. They easily reached the lower branches. They need to be plugged in separately, which isn't a problem with a dual-ended extension cord. The light is a nice warm white.
