Bicycle Black Magic Skull Deck I love this deck. Very clean and classic look. Black on white with a touch of red for face cards only. They feel fantastic and handle better than my standard bike decks. They are exactly as described and pictured. It should be noted that black dots are used throughout the deck. This gives the deck a weird look and feel that I like, but creates a weird issue that I haven't considered. This isn't really a complaint, more of an observation that downgraded this deck to 4 stars. To tell the truth I should have noticed before I bought it, so it's up to me, I bought this deck specifically to have Monte Rutina built into the gaffs. I really like this as an opening and I often supplement the standard presentation by making all cards black and then making the aces red again. And therein lies the problem. In a standard deck, all dots are black! Among them, of course, the ace of diamonds. Now on the hook, the ace of diamonds is red. Which adds to the problem of the audience being able to tell the difference between red and black when you move on to other tricks with this deck. I can no longer complete the all aces swap without a red ace from the deck. Honestly I should have noticed that, I'm not sure why they decided to add this gaff to an all black deck? Strange choice? Other gaffs are cool too, but not very functional. 13 spades is just cool, no question! There's no suggested use for it, but I plan on using it to make changes with king of spades or something. The skull and crossbones queen is cool too, but I was surprised that the standard queen had a double skull while the other 3 queens were standard. Still a nice addition, but seems outdated to me. I'll probably use it as my carry cards. The guffs seem a bit immature, but that's petty compared to the visual and aesthetic quality of this deck.
