Review on Chaco Ecotread Hunter Boys' Sandals – Toddler & Little Kids by Malik Munns

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The break-in period was worth it

I normally wear a women's size 6 and have found that the large children's size 4 is perfect for the Chaco Z1. The eco-profile sockliner is softer with a less aggressive camber, and overall the shoe looks and feels less "chunky" than women's sandals. If you're new to this brand, watch a YouTube video explaining how to adjust your straps and take a two-week break. I found the insole surface to be abrasive at first. There seemed to be a dry, powdery residue left from the manufacturing process. After washing the sandals with water and applying two drops of argon oil to the insole, it felt much better. The break-in period was worth it because it is now my favorite shoe. The low heel and high arch support took some getting used to, but now they provide support and are very comfortable. It was a steal at half the price of an adult Chaco. Very high quality shoes. Highly recommended.
