It was worth the break in period

I normally wear a women's size 6 and found the large child's size 4 to be perfect for the Chaco Z1. The eco-friendly sockliner is softer with a less aggressive camber, and overall the shoe looks and feels less "chunky" than women's sandals. If you're new to this brand, watch a YouTube video explaining how to adjust your straps and take a two-week break. I found the insole surface to be abrasive at first. Poor Fit Shoes - Sandals

These sandals were at least one size too small. I bought the right size for my leg length and could barely put my leg through the straps. I have very flat feet so the high arch doesn't bother wearing straps. If possible I would order a size larger. I've had other Chacos in the past and have been very happy with their durability and comfort (I wore them all summer as a camp counselor) but the sizing is hard to find.

They are really comfortable but run small

I wear a 7 in women's chacos so it would normally mean a 5 for boys but they were too small. I come back and ordered the youth 6. I'm crossing my fingers that the 6 fits because they were a lot lighter than my women's chacos and the insole was really comfortable! I like the colors offered in children's styles.

These shoes are adorable! The print/colors are bright and beautiful

These shoes are adorable! The print/colors are bright and beautiful! I wanted one but they weren't my size. So I bought another pair (which I love too) but ended up ordering a large child size 5 for my daughter. She wears women's sizes 6.5-7 and they fit her perfectly! They fit great, look great and she says they are very comfortable! Chaco has the largest selection of patterns/prints and they may seem expensive, but I have close family and friends who have worn the same pair for 5-10 years and
