Review on Chaco Ecotread Hunter Boys' Sandals – Toddler & Little Kids by Chris Quinto

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It was worth the break in period

I normally wear a women's size 6 and found the large child's size 4 to be perfect for the Chaco Z1. The eco-friendly sockliner is softer with a less aggressive camber, and overall the shoe looks and feels less "chunky" than women's sandals. If you're new to this brand, watch a YouTube video explaining how to adjust your straps and take a two-week break. I found the insole surface to be abrasive at first. There seemed to be a dry, powdery residue left from the manufacturing process. After washing the sandals with water and applying two drops of argon oil to the insole, things got a lot better. The break-in period was worth it because it is now my favorite shoe. The low heel and high arch support took some getting used to, but now they provide support and are very comfortable. It was a steal at half the price of an adult Chaco. Very high quality shoes. Highly recommended.
