The handle can break if turned in the wrong direction. Conversely, a cotton mop is most effective. If you have 2 you can machine wash one with one. Always have a fresh mop head ready. Easy to put on and take off the mop. Slightly turning the bucket releases the amount of water from the mop head. This allows you to regulate the amount of water on the floor. Wow! it took me five years to buy a new one today. Hubby was a little rough with it. :) Look, if handled properly, it lasts quite a long time. It's worth the slight change in cost. You must love it.
