We have 5 children (four of them boys) and 4 internal and external dogs (Labrador, Labradan, Catahoula and Labor). I say all this to show our rugs turn out TERRIBLE. I shampoo my carpets regularly. I've used Glade carpet powder and it worked well, but I hate using chemicals. This product is way more expensive than the Glade so I figured it must be amazing for the price. And luckily it didn't disappoint! I have used this powder in our carpeted living room and two bedrooms. It smelled strongly while I left it on and I followed the instructions not to breathe it in and stayed in another part of the house while waiting for the vacuuming. After cleaning, the rooms smelled good! All I could smell was fresh laundry. My second test is how long it will last. And he passed the test again! After a few days and even a week, the rooms still smell like a light pleasant fresh scent. A week later I could still smell and stink fresh laundry at Glade, which is why I find this product better than Glade. It costs a few dollars extra.
