This microscope is used for micro soldering, inspection and other manual work in my personal lab/workplace. I haven't added a camera yet, but I will. The microscope is solid and the base is quite heavy. The packaging was factory made but not suitable for a heavy base and I ended up with a box full of broken styrofoam and a slightly damaged base. I managed to find all the ripped off legs and screws and reassembled the system. There are paint scratches on the bottom from poor packaging. The visual node and shoulders were unaffected. Molded foam is absolutely unsuitable for the base and belongs in a separate box. I looked up company contact information and couldn't figure out who to contact or if there was any support available. I had to use it so I just decided to live with the scratched base and was able to get it up and running. Optically I am satisfied with the microscope. Works acceptable. I added an Amscope Barlow lens and a 144 LED light ring that fit perfectly. The cantilever leg is stable, movement is adequate, but lacks smooth bearings. I'm used to using much more expensive microscopes with slimmer stands and controls and better optics, but this is more than enough for the job. I would suggest the company put the base in its own box and ship it separately, or better yet, secure it in the foam cavity. The factory packaging material is absolutely not suitable for transport with the standard carrier.
