Excellent signal and no dropouts when playing video games. You also can't connect it to a surge protector. In order for it to work, you must plug the router and power strip directly into a grounded (3-hole) outlet. If you have an existing Wi-Fi modem, contact your ISP to enable or disable Wi-Fi on your non-surfboard modem. The surfboard works best when it is the only source of Wi-Fi signal. You can just call surfboard technical service and they will help you with that.
