I have had this installed on my 2010 Mini Cooper S for about 3 months no problems. The design of the PCV differs from the OEM PCV, but the valves are accessible by disassembly. The longevity of this remains to be seen as my colleagues installed it and it failed after 2-3 months, but I'm sure there is a workaround to keep using the aluminum valve cover. I will try to update this review when this happens!
