Loud ticking on furniture
The ticker volume changes depending on the time. Just bought a second one and it's ticking so loud we're sending it back. Also note that you can't leave the night light on - you have to press a button on the top of the watch and the light will come on as long as you hold that button down. The alarm on/off switch is also rather small on the back of the watch. Style, simplicity, using only 1 AA battery, and Bulova's accuracy are all plus points.
