Review on Thule Urban Glide 2: The Ultimate Jogging Stroller for Active Families by Jake Pavelko

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love it. There are seat tilt and length/width considerations.

So far I like this stroller. It's light and easy to press. It looks stylish and modern and many people praise our stroller as "beautiful". I can easily push it with one hand. Running with him is a dream. When you buy a console, you get good storage space. My toddler loves to buy an extra snack tray. The sun visor is big. There are even mesh pockets on the sides of the seat so my daughter can keep a toy or two next to her. There is a mesh pocket behind the seat. I left a banana in, folded the stroller and the next day the banana was fresh and undamaged. Adjusting the seat belts is quite simple and intuitive. My only complaints are very specific to my needs/preferences (basically, I want my stroller to be my everyday stroller): 1. The seat, in its most upright position, reclines slightly. My daughter really wants to sit up straight and for this reason doesn't dare to get into a stroller. I understand that this is to prevent the child from whiplash from abruptly starting and stopping while walking, but as I enjoy using this stroller for everyday activities I would like it to be able to move fully upright. I read that the 2016 BOB now includes a fully upright position, so I hope Thule does the same one day.2. The stroller seems to be very LONG. I took this stroller to Disneyland and found it to be a little big, not because of the girth or profile (which are very sleek) but simply because of the length. Maneuvering in tight spaces requires careful consideration, although the actual pushing and turning is very smooth, light and easy.3. The placement of the two rear wheels feels a bit WIDE indoors (yes, I took this to a restaurant) and in crowds. As in my last comment. The silhouette of the stroller seat is slim, only the wheel arrangement is wide at the front and a little wider at the back. If I hadn't been paying attention, I would have accidentally tripped over things. I wonder if the arrangement of the wheels has anything to do with the aerodynamics of the jogging buggy? If so, then I'm not complaining. My wish is that Thule (reading this, Thule?) considers a model with front and rear wheels that sit more under the child seat rather than sticking out as far, and with a more upright seating position. . Then it will be the only stroller you will ever need in your life.

Pros

Cons
  • Lots of stuff
