Review on DEZ Furnishings QFWT290640 Cordless Blackout by James Kapihe

UPDATE #2: As of September 2021 the other one is broken and won't raise or lower. We have a big one. We rarely use it because we're afraid it will work. I need to buy something else for these windows but we definitely won't be buying these again. I had such hopes in the beginning but they crumbled. UPDATE: We ordered them on 3/2020 and on the 15th (6/2021) one of the smaller ones (we bought 2 for 23" and one for 60". won't meddle. It's extended and we're staying up doing it that way. I'm considering buying another one but they're so expensive. Not sure if I want to or not. It's ironic that my first review questioned the mechanics of it. Not overly impressed. Us wait until the others turn away Tick Tick Tick.-------------------------------------- ------------------------- --------------------------------- --- - --------------------- -------------------- - We were so impressed with the continuous Light filtering by DEZ in our kitchen that we bought them for our master bedroom they block light well the color of the front and back of the honeycomb is white but the inside is dark and offers a "blackout function" BUT the mechanical one Function does not work so smoothly os like the light-filtering blinds AND they don't "click" when the top is closed like in the kitchen. I expected to be as impressed with this product as I have been with others. Although they are from the same manufacturer, they work differently. Even the attachment mechanism is different. Had I installed them first I could have given it a 5 star rating. but compared to a light filter, its mechanics are not that good.
