First purchase of this style of cookware. I'm a new baker. The silver cap that rests on top of the hilt - the end where the blade sits - immediately shifts. The cap slid along the length of the handle. A little glue was used to fix it, not the inconvenience of reordering or returning. As I have never used other brands - consider the dough cutting ability to be normal. Nice thin blade and seems to clean well - different condition than before, still looks good after several washes.
