I looked at several pregnancy pillows including well known brands. I took a chance based on the photos posted by other reviewers. The pillow seems to hold its shape well. When I opened the packaging, the pillow immediately began to expand. There wasn't any strong chemistry, which is good. The pillow took less than a day to take its full shape. I first tried the pillow as pictured with my head on the pillow. I did not feel well. Then I flipped the pillow and used it instead of supporting my hips and elevating my legs. It was better that way, and now that's how I use it. This pillow doesn't prevent me from rolling onto my back, so I use it in combination with a smaller wedge-shaped pillow. I have also used this pillow on the couch while watching TV and it is helpful.
