Review on Track Your Ovulation Naturally With IProven'S High Precision Digital Basal Body Thermometer by Nick Mahoney

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Accurate reading, no display back lighting

I got this thermometer because it was recommended for BBT reading to help predict ovulation. It is easy to use and gives an accurate reading. My biggest issue, that I did not think would be a huge issue, is the fact there is no display/backround screen light. When your taking temps in the early am hours before you even move around, it's usually dark haha. Then I have to use my phone light to see the screen. Also, many reviews thought it came with the ability to show/store your previous reading, it does not come like this, you do have the option to add memory storage on your own(so good thing my phone is already out as a flashlight to see screen, haha). Lastly, I have seen many reviews say the 3 beeps at the end are too quiet, I did not find this as an issue. I wouldn't want it too much louder especially since I am doing primarily using it at such a quiet time. They have a link that you can add your readings onto a chart to have a visual which is nice but can also accomplish this with many ovulation apps as well. Overall, it has a good reading, but I would not purchase in future because I didn't realize how much the lack of display light sucks haha. Also, I would have loved if it atleast came ready with memory to atleast remember your last reading. Your supposed to take them at the same time each am, on the weekend I like to sleep in a bit later but still have wake up to take it at designated time, half awake try to remember to get my light and write temp down.

Pros
  • Not backlit, maybe I read the description wrong.
Cons
  • No light on the screen. It make it harder to see the numbers.
