My girlfriend and I got it because we wanted it.
My girlfriend and I got this because we wanted to stop showering with all those harsh chemicals/chlorine in city water. We've been using it for almost 3 months now and I honestly can't tell the difference between before and after. Water feels and tastes the same as my skin after drying. I'm sure the product works to a certain extent given Sprite's excellent reputation, but I just haven't noticed any change after installing this filter on our shower head. My girlfriend, on the other hand, swears that her skin isn't that dry anymore. I think it's just a placebo effect.
