🚿 Sprite Showers High Output 2 Universal Shower Filter, Chrome - HO2-CM Review

As others have pointed out this thing leaks like a strainer. I stopped the leak with tape on both ends and then it started leaking in the middle (where you unscrew it to replace the filter). Can't speak for the improvement in the "softness" of the water.

I was very disappointed with this product when it arrived. The item arrived without the packaging shown in the photo, no o-rings, no shower head as advertised and appeared fairly used. This should be set up during a short holiday visit to a family member. It is clear that this will not happen now. I am extremely unhappy with those responsible for this incident. The product arrived in a small white box, as in the photo.

The filter has a beautiful copper finish. I'm not sure if that will do anything. The water still has a slight smell. The filter cartridge looks small compared to the container. I'm not sure if the water actually goes through the filter and not just around the cart. The white one I bought years ago said to run the water as hot as possible to activate the filter. I did not see such instructions on this copper version. Be sure to use tape on all threads during installation or it will leak.

Guys, I got my chlorine tests in the mail from the official water testing lab. It was a small "tablet" that you dissolve in 1 teaspoon of water and if the water turns pink then there is chlorine in it. I dropped this tablet in water filtered by my Britta faucet filter and it didn't turn pink meaning it didn't contain chlorine. My girlfriend and I got this because we wanted to stop showering with all those harsh chemicals/chlorine in city water. We've been using it for almost 3 months now and I honestly can't tell the difference between before and after. Water feels and tastes the same as my skin after drying. I received one with twisted threads. So I used several feet of tape. It worked. Unfortunately the water pressure was also noticeably low (but it wasn't great at first - so if you have low pressure you'll notice. If you have good pressure you won't notice.) I'm thrilled with my new shower filter. I did a lot of research to try and pick the best. I am very satisfied and recommend it to everyone. It's made of durable chrome - very pretty - much better than the white plastic parts I've had in the past.
