Review on 🏎️ JMS PedalMax - Throttle Enhancement Device for 2011-2020 Ford Vehicles - PX1114F by Geoffrey Graham

Unsafe device vulnerable to RF radio

The device works, but the designers did not take into account the RF filtering near the device. Even with 4 type 31 ferrite cores on the wiring harness AND a grounded foil shield on the case, even a small amount of nearby HF will cause my Ford engine to rev to high RPMs. The PedalMax's body is one piece, so it's hard to even think of adding proper internal decoupling capacitors. So the designer saves a few pennies on proper device filtering, making this device useless to anyone with an RF radio transmitter greater than a few watts of power. Also, it is dangerous for EVERYONE because someone could move next to you and transmit enough energy for this device to accelerate your car.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • There are problems
