The device works, but the designers did not take into account the RF filtering near the device. Even with 4 type 31 ferrite cores on the wiring harness AND a grounded foil shield on the case, even a small amount of nearby HF will cause my Ford engine to rev to high RPMs. The PedalMax's body is one piece, so it's hard to even think of adding proper internal decoupling capacitors. So the designer saves a few pennies on proper device filtering, making this device useless to anyone with an RF radio

OMFlipping GOD what's the difference. It's like a completely different car! Acceleration (and shifting for some weird reason) is PHENOMENAL! No delay! It comes with a dial for those [weak spirits] who want to soften it up, I work 100% without it. Only the ST or RS accelerate faster, but not necessarily smoother. So it worked exactly as I expected so should I give it 5 stars? However, I think some people get a little carried away with what it can and can't do. The factory setting for pedal sensitivity is pretty weak, allowing you to pedal a decent distance and not get much throttle response. Installed Pedalmax in my 2016 Lincoln Navigator in literally 5 minutes. Zero problems and worked as soon as I reconnected the battery and started. Some have reported that the check engine light is off and the cruise control is fully functional. Does exactly what it says. Throttle response is almost instantaneous.
