DOESN'T FULFILL AS MUCH

Installed Pedalmax in my 2016 Lincoln Navigator in literally 5 minutes. Zero problems and worked as soon as I reconnected the battery and started. Some have reported that the check engine light is off and the cruise control is fully functional. Does exactly what it says. Throttle response is almost instantaneous. What I really like is that it's still easy to modulate the pedal and the input is very linear so it's still easy to control smoothly. It does NOT turn the throttle into a switch. You just get a lot more juice on the pedal much sooner. Because the throttle opens wider with less pedal effort, the transmission kicks down much faster and without lag. It used to be slow to accelerate, especially between 35 and 50 mph. I really don't want to install a ringtone in this car and it has given me a noticeable difference in performance without modifying the car or its computer. This was very important to me as my Lincoln warranty is in full force and I intend to keep it that way. I will add Boostmax side by side to eliminate turbo lag and get more power and response at high frequencies. I am completely satisfied with this product. I will update this review if I run into any issues over time. UPDATE 12/10/2019. It worked flawlessly for a week and I was very happy with its performance as I wrote above. Then, about 10 days after installation, one morning I started my sat nav as usual and it hit 4000rpm and never turned off again. Pressing the gas pedal did not solve the problem. Luckily I put an extra shift knob in my kit so I could turn the knob to the off position and it restored normal cold idle. I turned it back on and when I turned the knob it went back to 3000 rpm so I immediately turned it off again. I called JMS about the problem and they recommended disconnecting the battery, disconnecting everything and putting everything back together to reset the computer and throttle position sensor. I did as suggested and after reconnecting the battery I restarted the engine and it seemed to idle for about 20 seconds and then started turning again on its own. I turned it off again thinking maybe the adjust knob was bad so I disconnected the battery, disconnected the adjust knob from the JMS harness, reconnected the battery and restarted the car. Same, idling for about 10 seconds and then back up to 4000 rpm. While I understand that this should open the throttle more with any given input to increase throttle response, it should NOT rev the car too much on its own without stepping on the gas. Obviously the problem is with the hardware here, as it worked flawlessly for about 10 days before it started failing. I don't know what the problem is. JMS cannot provide any details, information or solution, so for now it is leaving my navigator and returning to Revain for a refund. I don't want a huge vehicle like the Navigator accelerating in traffic. Not only can this be dangerous, but it can potentially lead to disaster if it starts and I can't stop it. Luckily it happened at idle before I put it in gear and I was able to disengage it because I had the adjuster knob installed. It could have been a very different situation if I couldn't turn it off and it happened in traffic jams.
