The rope cable is excellent and easy to work with.

I used a rope as skids to extend and roll up the fabric roof. Rope cables are great for this purpose and easy to work with, but I highly recommend that you also get wire cutters and crimping tools before working on the cable. This saves a lot of extra work and frustration!
