Don't accidentally hurt the dog; Watch some dog training videos before using a shock collar. This depends heavily on the user's knowledge and patience, but the collar works exactly as you would expect. It has a beep, rumble and kick function that can help you train your dog better. I combined the beep (sound) feature with the treat at a 1:1 ratio until my dog started coming back at me with every beep. Now it comes whenever the beep sounds. I only use the shock function when my dog is actively barking aggressively or running away. Customer service is excellent.
