Review on πŸ‘“ Foster Grant Men's Multifocus Reading Glasses Rectangular Black/Transparent 54mm +2: The Perfect Eyewear for Men by Balakrishna Tam

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Comfortable but narrow frame for very close and far focus changes

This is a narrow frame. I read a previous 1 star review of these frames, which I believe is the result of comparing a narrow frame (Sawyer style) to a wider frame (Conan style), where the narrow frame requires more head movement to see the A wider or taller style that requires less head movement to optimize diffusion of progressive lenses. I have both styles (um, a few in each room these days) and prefer the Conan style (wider) when I'm at the computer, in staff meetings, in small conference rooms, or anywhere else objects are closer together. But I think Sawyer's style is great for driving or switching between very close objects and objects farther away, since the narrow lens and thus narrower definition of magnification requires only minor up and down movements. Both styles serve a purpose and the quality is much better than the multipack singles. If you're like me the Sawyer is great for auto, fishing, hunting, theater and maybe a different style like Conan for more intimate pursuits.
