First of all, these lights are causing a hyperflare in my 2011 Hyundai Veracruz. If it weren't for that, I might not notice all the other problems. Second, the light emitted is definitely not amber, but a very pale yellow. If you build it into a transparent reflector, it may well be confused with off-white. If your cases have built-in amber filters, they will suit you. Finally, their brightness is too high. To put this in perspective, I have 55w HID kits for both low and high beam, which is insanely overkill. These LEDs are brighter than my HIDs when it comes to actual candela (when looking at the point/origin of the light source). It's not that bad at over 100 feet, but up close, if someone is behind you at a stop light, you'll no doubt blind them badly. If you have smoked/tinted headlights these may be perfect for you. I can't comment on the durability of these bulbs as I just received and installed them today. What I can tell you is that they look like high quality LED bulbs that are well made and will last a while. Edited to add: Antline resolved this issue quickly with excellent customer service and refunded money with no issues. For this reason I am changing my rating from 3 to 5 stars. It's getting harder and harder to get good customer service and I genuinely appreciate a good company willing to support their products.
