This is an excellent amplifier with 15dB overall gain. Time Warner gave me one of these a few years ago (it was already in use then). Either the power supply or the amp died recently so I bought another so I don't have to wait for Time Warner and all the hassle they bring. My cable modem can never reach full bandwidth without an amplifier. I need a 15dB amplifier because of the required output splitters. It's DOCSIS 3.0 compliant, so it's also ready for new high-speed technologies as they come to your region or are about to come. Upstream loss of only 1dB and compatible with standards that need to carry data both upstream and downstream. Also compatible with MoCA networks. Note that Antronix amps can be remote powered via a common output with the unit if you have purchased their ARPI-2000 power supply.
