There are many small strainers at Revain but all have problems. Most reviewers complain that many handles fall off! Such poor design is simply unacceptable, and even a hint that it might be a problem was enough to make me look elsewhere. I almost gave up when I found Tramontina! First, it comes with a lifetime guarantee, so that's reassuring! Second, the design is simple and reliable. The handles are built into the design, not welded on with a cheap weld, and the size is perfect. I like to wash the berries, first dunking them in a bowl of water to separate the floating matter and heavy loose dirt, then picking them up and putting them in a colander for a final rinse. Finally, I place a colander over the rinsed bowl to dry the berries. The lower edge of the Tramontina fits perfectly in the bowl and allows the berries to drain without taking up space in the sink. I wish the manufacturer had put a hole in one of the handles so I could hang it on the pan. Trunk In general, a very good buy!
