I would recommend this saddle to anyone who goes touring. I always end up buying a man seat because the slit in the seat is better for the female section. I don't know why they think the slot on the female seat is big enough but it is NOT. I love this saddle, it moves with the bumps in the road. The gap not only goes back and forth, but also moves in such a way that it is, so to speak, independent of the other side. I don't know if I explained it correctly... But it gave me even more damping properties besides the Thud Buster seatpost. I had the Selle Italia women's saddle which looks sharp but is very uncomfortable. I felt like I was being crushed that I was in a lot of pain after the 26 mile ride. I put on a Serfas saddle and rode 35 miles on a tandem bike the next day. As a stoker, you overcome more bumps than a captain. Although I have a seatpost to solve this problem, I felt very uncomfortable with the Sella Italia saddle. But it was the difference between day and night in comfort with the Serfas saddle seat. My husband has the men's version of the Selle Italia saddle and after two days of riding he was getting on with it quite well. I got him to sit in his seat and now I'm going to buy one for him too.
