Comfortable split bike saddle that helps with pinched nerves

This was probably the fourth Serfas bike saddle I've bought. This model fits me well so I can ride for long periods without getting irritated, but the split design prevents pressure on the important nerves underneath which is a problem for me unless I use a split design saddle. My previous Serfas saddles have lasted a very long time. They haven't really worn out, I just bought another bike and wanted a new saddle for it. It looks like this new one will last at least a few thousand miles on the…

Great bike seat. End of story

A bit of biography. I'm a 66 casual cyclist. I run 24 miles a week, 3 x 8 miles. Being 66, still on the bike and not pretending in front of the whole spandex crowd is a relief. So is this seat! I have already bought 4 different brands and models. All that junk, and it would be better to see him in the saddle! Thank goodness this model is excellent! My butt doesn't hurt anymore and I can say it works! I always go to the negative reviews first and troll up and don't believe what the employee…

Just say no! It's not worth it!

I wanted to love about this seat. Short drive around the block and I thought this might be the place. I felt nauseous after my first 5 mile ride. I tried it on a 10 mile ride and a 20 mile ride. I felt like my ass got hit by a truck! No joke, that sucks. I switched to another brand and immediately felt relieved. The woman saw it on the table and asked if she could taste it. We did a 15 mile ride, she didn't like it and she let me trade bikes with her on the way home. I don't recommend this to…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

I ride about 15-20 miles a day when I get out of the saddle. I prefer a saddle that cushions bumps and long rides. I have this saddle on most if not all of my bikes. I have had back problems in the past and within minutes I know if the saddle is working or not. This one just works - period! I got comfort and performance without much more weight than a skinny saddle offers. This is definitely a personal preference though, if you are looking for a comfortable saddle then look no further. I will…

Very good fit - not as soft as Serfas Gel

Might change after a real ride tomorrow morning. Just arrived and just installed. My previous seat is the Serfas Jet Gel, a one piece, dual density, shallow groove seat that has been in remarkably good condition for 10 years. The injury kept me from skating for 5 years and my kids were my excuse for the next 5 years. The new Rx-921v split seat is well padded but not as plush as my old Pearl seat. Me: Almost 5 feet 12 inches, 135 pounds (135 pounds). 61 kg or 9.6 stone). I'm a skinny guy with a…

I highly recommend this saddle.

I would recommend this saddle to anyone who goes touring. I always end up buying a man seat because the slit in the seat is better for the female section. I don't know why they think the slot on the female seat is big enough but it is NOT. I love this saddle, it moves with the bumps in the road. The gap not only goes back and forth, but also moves in such a way that it is, so to speak, independent of the other side. I don't know if I explained it correctly... But it gave me even more damping…

SMART DESIGN, REQUIRED COMFORT, HIGH PERFORMANCE, GOOD PURCHASE!

I'm 6ft 1" and weigh a Serfas RX-921V RX on my Trek SuperCommuter 8+ electric bike on a Kinekt suspension seatpost. Lining (Pearl Izumi Cargo Liner Short), both for cushioning and for "smoothing" the riding surface. Sweaty cotton underwear that puckers and clumps between the butt and the saddle ruins the ride. I've never had a specific saddle. I've had before Having trouble with one of my mountain bikes or road bikes, but with the extra e-bike weight I notice again when riding imperfect roads…
