I'm 6ft 1" and weigh a Serfas RX-921V RX on my Trek SuperCommuter 8+ electric bike on a Kinekt suspension seatpost. Lining (Pearl Izumi Cargo Liner Short), both for cushioning and for "smoothing" the riding surface. Sweaty cotton underwear that puckers and clumps between the butt and the saddle ruins the ride. I've never had a specific saddle. I've had before Having trouble with one of my mountain bikes or road bikes, but with the extra e-bike weight I notice again when riding imperfect roads and trails, I thought I'd give this Serfas saddle a try to see what extra comfort I'd get during mine could get daily commutes and longer rides.To be honest I was amazed at how more comfortable the already relatively comfortable ride became thanks to the Serfas saddle.The extra padding was a plus but the functionality of the split saddle was the real benefit ...You feel the independent support of the two saddle cams Riding the Serfas saddle also made me realize how certain I feel on long rides Taking numbness and pain for granted. With the Serfas saddle, I experienced a distinct and noticeable lack of numbness with no sign of pain/nervous fatigue when riding 30+ miles. The Serfas saddle makes shorter daily commutes even more enjoyable. Serfas is not a very expensive saddle compared to bike saddles, so it's worth more than every dollar spent. It's just damn beautiful!
