Review on Fallout 3 game for Xbox 360 by Mateusz Mazurkiewicz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Despite the negative reviews about this game on the net, I did not hesitate for a long time when I bought it. And I wasn't wrong. It's still the same Fallout, but with much more features. The view from the first and from the third person allows you to feel the game from other sides, to see how the old Fallouts would look not in isometry, but directly from the face of the GG. Only the main quest is not happy. It is linear and does not involve making quick decisions, as it was in the original games. In other words, you can go to the simplest first tasks of the main quest already thoroughly pumped. Another disadvantage is the auto-leveling of enemies. If in the first or second Fallout, even being at the highest level, I came to the super mutants or to the claws of death, then I might not return from there. In the third, the aforementioned opponents can simply be plugged with a stick.

Pros
  • Open, though not "seamless" world. The oppressive atmosphere of the post-nuclear world. Developed quest system.
Cons
  • Few settlements. Poorly implemented random encounters. Auto-leveling enemies. High difficulty at the beginning and high ease at the end. No interactive environment.
