so I'm not sure if that's wrong with the paper I received or all the paper in the queue is like that. Every piece of paper I've tried using has spots in the paper that don't evenly absorb ink or water, if at all. The paper itself looks fine at first glance, with no visible flaws, but with use it shows spots of water and pigment rising, like painting on plastic. I'm using my Daniel Smith kit for this, so I know it's not paint. In the second picture you can see that the samples I'm making were fine on the left and a total mess on the right. I've never had this problem with any other paper I've used in my life. I would like to know if my paper bag is damaged.
