Review on ๐Ÿƒ DA VINCI Ruote: Premium Italian Plastic Playing Cards - 2-Deck Poker Set with Jumbo Index, Hard Shell Case, and Cut Cards by Brannan Mclemore

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I don't like these very much.

So the overall feedback is very positive. However, I do not agree. At first I was happy with the texture. I prefer plastic cards and was curious if they were the same as Da Vinci's Niv. I like the design of the tab on the back. However, the cards look very artificial. They are definitely harder than the Neve cards. They have a certain texture, but it also looks artificial. When shuffling the cards, the friction noise between the cards is very loud and yet they slide well against each other. Between "Ruote" and "Nev" I prefer cards over Neva. If you like hard Italian playing cards, you might prefer Modiano Cristallo. My absolute favorite is Dal Negro Treviso. I'm waiting for the Dal Negro "round back" and I'm very happy about it because I only have a sample card. If you prefer plastic cards there are all kinds of options including Copag, Dal Negro, Modiano, Da Vinci. , and a number of others. Unfortunately, the only way to find out is to try them out, either in a friend's game or just by buying a deck from each. They're probably all better than the paper ones, but everyone has their favorites.
